A new order from Governor Reeves will add a mask mandate to 9 counties in Mississippi. One of those is Jackson County.
Here is what the new order is calling for in those counties:
Indoor social gatherings should be limited to groups of 10 people
Outdoor social gatherings should be limited to groups of 50 people
Face mask (or coverings,) are required indoors and while interacting with the public where social distancing can’t be followed.
This order will apply to gatherings that aren’t under a current restrictive order. (Football games are under another current order.)
