Katy Perry may finally have company at the American Idol judges’ table.
Producers offered the job to country singer Luke Bryan. He could earn about 6 million dollars as an Idol judge.
Unlike Katy Perry at the MTV Music Video Awards, Luke proved himself perfectly capable of handling live TV. In the spring he hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards.
There’d been talk of Keith Urban returning to judge. It’s a distinct possibly that Idolwill have two Nashville stars as judges.
Taped auditions begin in a matter of weeks. Producers are under the gun to finalize the judges. Lionel Richie and Charlie Puth are two other possible potential judges Idolwould like to secure. (TMZ)
