Dr. Mehmet Oz, as he's done many times before, came to the aid of a complete stranger in distress.
The TV doctor was on a flight from New York to Los Angeles Wednesday night when a fellow passenger collapsed. A flight attendant immediately ran to get Dr. Oz, who took charge of the situation. He had the man lie on his back and used the electrode pads from the plane's defibrillator to create a makeshift EKG test to see if the man had suffered a heart attack.
Dr. Oz remained with the man for the rest of the flight and stayed with him until EMTs transported him to the emergency room. He says he later got in touch with the man and learned that the collapse was due to the flu. (Page Six)
