A Lynyrd Skynyrd documentary is on the way.

 The Lynyrd Skynyrd documentary If I Leave Here Tomorrow will premiere on Showtime on August 18th.The film covers their rise, fall and rise again with narration by guitarist Gary Rossington, the only original member still in the band.

Mike Shinoda is speaking out about his future plans and says he's "open" to several possibilities regarding future performances. In a recent interview, he said he's keeping his mind "open to the possibilities," including "if the guys are at a point where they wanna play Linkin Park shows." But for now, he says he's focused on "getting the solo live show together and making it the best it can be." Shinoda recently released his debut solo album Post Traumatic.

Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett is set to sell 20 of his guitars at auction on Reverb. In a recent interview, Shiflett said he's collected an "excess of guitars" over the years, adding that he has way more than he could "really play" and more than he does play. He plans to take those 20 guitars and "turn them into two guitars." The auction on the online music gear marketplace gets underway today.
