The Budweiser Clydesdale's are in town!

They'll parade in downtown Biloxi starting at 5 tonight.

Tomorrow, they'll be at Keesler Air Force Base from 1-3 for another parade.

Friday, they'll parade in downtown Gulfport at 5 starting at the Aquarium.

Saturday, they'll parade in Bay St. Louis starting at 5 at the Depot.

They'll visit Ocean Springs Sunday at 2 starting on the Front Beach and ending at the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center.

There's also a public viewing opportunity at the Harrison County Fairgrounds as follows:

Friday from 9-2, Saturday from 9-2, and Monday from 9-3.


The O'Jays are playing at the IP Friday night.


Thursday, Feb 7:

The Vancleave Public Library is showing their Black History Month Movie at 5pm. It's about the struggle of women in NASA's first moon launch program.


Friday, Feb 8:

Grab your best gal-pals and celebrate the women in your life at the "Galentine's Affair" at the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art in Biloxi Friday night from 6-8. Proceeds will benefit OOMA's Children's Gallery.


It's "Thai Cuisine Unleashed" at the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center in Ocean Springs. Learn the history of the Thai people and their food between 6 and 9pm.


Arts Under the Dome presents "Tuba Skinny", a New Orleans band playing jazz, ragtime, and Depression-era blues from 7-9 at First United Methodist Church in Gulfport.

Saturday, Feb 9:

Dress in your favorite costume and enjoy Mardi Gras music, bingo, art, karaoke, and a children's parade at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center from 10-noon. Bring your own decorated bike, trike or wagon for the parade.


It's "Smoking Pots in a Paper Kiln" at the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art in Biloxi from 10-2. The kiln is fired overnight, class reconvenes the next morning to see the results.


Create a hat, headband or mask featuring your favorite animal to enter in February's Second Saturday Art Walk contest at the Gallery in Bay St. Louis. Prizes awarded at this free event, though donations to the Hancock County Animal Shelter will be welcome. 6-8pm


It's the Second Annual Zebra Run at Fort Maurepas Park in Ocean Springs. The 5K run begins at 8am, followed by a one-mile kids' fun run.


There's a Boating Course at the Bay-Waveland Yacht Club in Bay St. Louis from 8-5. You'll get an overview of boating safety, and passing the course will qualify students for the Boating Safety Certification required by MS for anyone born after June 30 of 1980.


Learn how to make King Cake, and the history behind the sweet treat at the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center in Ocean Springs from 9-noon.
