How a 9-year-old girl ended up working with a basketball legend.

Steph Curry is one of the biggest stars in the NBA -- and has one of the most popular lines of athletic shoes out there.

Five months ago, a nine-year-old girl named Riley Morrison wrote him a letter, asking why he didn’t offer his shoes in girl sizes.

Steph responded to the question by inviting Riley to help design the newest model. She stepped up and helped Steph create the Curry 6 shoe for International Women’s Day.

And during an interview she was giving about her experience and her shoe design, Steph showed up, gave her a pair of the new shoes -- and even hung around to grab rebounds for her while she shot baskets.

Riley enjoyed an amazing adventure with her sports hero, all because she took the time to write a simple note.
