Cher-Themed Suite To Open Up At NYC's Sofitel Hotel

Cher already has a Broadway show in her honor and now the pop icon is getting her own hotel suite in New York City.

As per a recent announcement from Sofitel Hotel, the iconic entertainer is set to receive the ultimate treatment with a Cher Show-themed suite, which is said to feature a Cher Show poster signed by the cast, a Time magazine cover signed by both Cher and her longtime costume designer Bob Mackie, portraits of the star by noted celebrity illustrator Al Hirschfeld and even some original costumes from the Broadway show. Sofitel Hotel's "Cher Show"-themed suite begins at $499 per night and is available for bookings beginning June 10 until September 15.

Beyond the suite, guests can also revel in Cher mania by purchasing a special drink called Turn Back Thyme centered around the superstar's 1989 smash "If I Could Turn Back Time" at the hotel's Gaby Bar. Additionally, the venue will host a Proud Hour from 8 to 10 PM between June 10 to July 15, with 20 percent of all cocktail proceeds benefiting The Ali Forney Center, a New York City-based organization that helps to prevent LGBTQ teen homelessness.
