Emma Stone Finally Meets Emma Burton IRL During Spice Girls Reunion Tour

Two Emmas became one when Emma Stone and Emma Bunton crossed paths this week.

The Favourite actress, a longtime Spice Girls fans, met the British girl group member in the flesh on Friday (June 14) after attending one of their final "Spice World" shows at Wembley Stadium — and the encounter was as cute as you'd imagine.

In one of the pics of the pair, posted to Bunton's Instagram, the pink-haired singer holds up a peace sign wearing a flashy, patterned dress as poses beside a visibly excited Stone, seen smiling from cheek to cheek in her pink-heart bedazzled denim jacket. Another shot shows the two up close and beaming in delight over the fateful fangirl moment, which the 43-year-old captioned, "When Emma met Emma #2become1."

Stone has spoken of her love for Bunton and the Spice Girls in previous interviews.

Back in November, the A-List star confessed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that it was Baby Spice who inspired her to be addressed as "Emma" rather than birth name, Emily, when she was a kid.

"I was super blonde, and my real name is Emily, but I wanted to be called Emma because of Baby Spice and guess what, now I am,” Stone recalled. "So, that’s pretty messed up.”

She added: "It wasn’t necessarily because of her, but yes, in second grade, did I go up to the teacher and ask her to call me Emma, yes I did. And was it because of Emma Lee Bunton from the Spice Girls? Yes it was."

The Spice Girls will conclude their thirteen and final show of their reunion tour tonight (June 15) at Wembley Stadium.
