Taylor Swift Returns To 'The Voice' As 'Mega Mentor' On Season 17

Taylor Swift has been a busy woman since her seventh studio album, Lover, was released in August and she's not slowing down any time soon.

It was announced on Monday (September 16) that the 10-time Grammy winner was given the honor of being a Mega Mentor on the upcoming 17th season of The Voice.

This will be Swift's second appearance on the show as a Mega Mentor — her first time was season seven and she performed "ME!" on last season's finale.

The news came via a hilarious Instagram video uploaded by the hit competition show featuring two of the four judges; Blake Shelton and John Legend. The two judges are relaxing backstage trying to figure out who exactly will be this season's Mega Mentor.

"I think the person's, like, one of the most successful people in music," Legend said. "That's true, but I can't be because I'm a coach," Shelton joked.

As the two ponder, Swift casually walks by and it hits the two judges — who scream her name.

Fans will have to wait until the Knockout Rounds to get a glimpse of the chart-topper. Swift will help all four coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend — and their acts as they practice for their performances during the Knockouts.

Season 17 of The Voice premieres on Sept. 23 on NBC at 8:00 p.m. ET. Swifties can also catch the "Lover" singer in the new film Cats later this year and she announced she'll be re-recording her earlier songs next year!
