Starbucks Has A Phantom Frappuccino Made With Charcoal Powder & Green Slime

You may think Pumpkin Spice Lattes or Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew are Starbucks best fall offerings, but there's a new contender vying for the top spot now. With Halloween just around the corner, Starbucks dropped the brand new Phantom Frappuccino and it's extra spooky. Made with black charcoal powder and topped with green "slime," this might just be the coffee giant's next fall beverage of choice.

Though the Phantom Frappuccino looks dark and dreadful, the taste is anything but. According to Delish, it consists of "a blend of coconut milk, mango, and pineapple essence, along with Starbucks crème Frappuccino syrup, with 'lime slime' all around. It also has an optional dark coconut whipped cream made from coconut milk and black charcoal powder." It may look like this frapp is haunted, however, the Phantom Frappuccino actually sounds super fruity and fresh.

While the Phantom Frapp isn't scary, there is one aspect that may give you a fright: this spooky beverage is currently only available in Europe. Not only that, it's only available for five days beginning on Saturday (October 26).

If you're living in Europe or have a vacation coming up in the next few days, though, make sure you try out this Franken-treat while you have the chance. The drink is costs £2.70 (or about $3.50). Will you be giving the Phantom Frapp a try?
