A hearing today on the ICE raids at 7 chicken processing plants in MS.

A congressional committee is holding a hearing in Jackson today on the immigration raids at seven chicken processing plants in Mississippi back in August. The House Homeland Security Committee is headed by Mississippi Democrat Bennie Thompson, who has concerns over how those raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were conducted. Nearly 700 workers believed to be in this country illegally were taken into custody and some face federal charges.
