The dust is settling after chaos in Mississippi's prison system.

The dust is still settling after last week's chaos in Mississippi's prison system. A Parchman escapee is still on the loose and a lockdown remains in effect after five inmates were killed, most of them in gang fights. The search continues for Dillon Williams who escaped from the Delta prison Friday along with David May who was caught early Sunday morning. A stolen truck the men were believed to be traveling in was recovered. Williams was serving 40 years in prison for aggravated assault and residential burglary in Marshall County. May was serving a life sentence for aggravated assault in Harrison County. There's no word on how far he got before he was captured.

One of Mississippi's congressmen wants a federal investigation into the state's prison system after a wave of violence last week that left five inmates dead.  Democrat Bennie Thompson says he'll ask the Justice Department to examine the Mississippi Department of Corrections saying the prisons have failed to meet safety, security, health and environmental standards. And Thompson says the crisis must be addressed quickly.
