Harry's & The Trevor Project Aim For A New Goal With Shave With Pride Set

Just last year, Harry's and The Trevor Project announced a long-term partnership to reach thousands of LGBTQ youth through their Shave with Pride set donations. Now, the two entities have raised the bar for this year's initiative as Pride Month looms around the corner.

Designed by illustrator José Roda, Harry's new limited box set features a one-of-a-kind razor, each with a rainbow coating that differs per razor. All profits from the kits in the States are set to go to The Trevor Project, while £10 per kit will head to the Albert Kennedy Trust in the United Kingdom. In 2019, the mergers wanted to reach 80,000 youth and this year's campaign is even bigger as Harry's contributions will help The Trevor Project achieve their goal in reaching 120,000 young people through phone, text and chat support.

"The process was a truly collaborative one; José understood our goals immediately, was a dream to work with," Scott Newlin, VP of Design, said in a statement. "From the beginning, his ideas and drawings inspired not just our team, but the entire company. As we were working through the process, different people and teams around the office would gather when his work came in and were thrilled by the illustrations. That's when you know you've gotten something really great - when people not involved in the project get really excited to see the works in-process."
