> Generic Zantac Recalled Over Cancer Concerns: A popular heartburn drug is being pulled from shelves. Some generic versions of Zantac could be linked to cancer. Drugmaker Apotex announced a recall today after carcinogens were found in the pills. The boxes were sold over-the-counter at Walgreens, Walmart and Rite Aid. Other drug makers have also announced recalls or stopped distribution. U.S. health officials are still determining how the pills became contaminated.

> Plant-based burgers seem to be all the rage these days, and McDonald’s is the latest chain to hop on the bandwagon. The fast food giant just announced that they’ll be testing a plant-based burger for their menu. The PLT will use Beyond Meat for their plant-based “beef,” and it will also have lettuce and tomato. But while Burger King and White Castle already have Impossible Burger options on their menu, the Mickey D burger isn’t being rolled out so fast. It is first expected to be tested in only 28 locations in Ontario, Canada.
