>UTA is offering a new $1 Rideshare program. “UTA on Demand by Via” is an app service where you can request a ride to come right to your door, just like Uber and Lyft, for only $1.The pilot program provides services for about 65 square miles in the cities of Bluffdale, Draper, Herriman, Riverton and South Jordan. Drivers are available 6 a.m. to 9 pm, Monday through Friday. The cost is $1.00 per ride until January, when the cost will increase to $2.50. If you have a UTA Pass, the ride is FREE. UTA plans to extend the service areas depending on the public response over the next year.
