#GoodNews: Helicopters Drop Vegetables For Australian Animals Near Fires

Helicopters are being used to drop thousands of pounds of carrots and sweet potatoes to stranded wildlife in the middle of the Australian bushfires. The surviving animals are being pushed out of their homes and into areas where food is scarce.

The New South Wales government commissioned "Operation Rock Wallaby" to do the food drops in areas like Yengo National Park and Kangaroo Valley. So far, they have dropped nearly 5,000 pounds of fresh vegetables.
