Meet Jack, our Pet of The Week! From Humane Society of South Mississippi

Update: Jack has found his Fur-Ever home!    Congrats Jack!

Jack is a 6.5 year old mixed breed boy who is ready for adoption after being on foster for his heartworm treatment, he has finished his post-heartworm treatment rest and he is ready to go.

Jack is HSSM's longest resident, at around SEVEN MONTHS! No more obstacles to his adoption! Jack is good with other dogs, and good with kids (although probably not the teeny tiniest as he can be a little unintentionally rough), he would do best in a home without felines...

Jack knows sit, wait, and walks well on a leash he is a couch potato and snuggle bug but does enjoy a good frolic too. Jack is house trained and can do the kennel scene too, although he prefers to be with his people. He also has the biggest tongue on the planet and he gives juicy kisses. I *think* that about sums him up. Oh wait! He also talks!!! It's the best!! Any questions, please ask. Help Jack FINALLY get a home of his own.
