Hershey is fully house trained and ready to wiggle his way into your heart.

Hershey came from a home where he lived with an elderly woman who could no longer give him the life she believed he deserved. There has been no indication that he has ever been mistreated, as he is seemingly well socialized and gets along with other dogs, children, and doesn't seem to mind cats, either. While he doesn't exhibit any aggression to other dogs, smaller or older dogs with lower amounts of energy may be more suitable for his safety. Hershey is described as a "lap lover" and would be the perfect companion for somebody who is an avid movie/Netflix binge watcher or works from home. Don't be fooled by his age, because this guy is up and at 'em like any young spring chicken. Hershey is fully house trained and ready to wiggle his way into your heart, so if you can open up your home, please stop by the Humane Society of South Mississippi to visit with him. His adoption fee has been sponsored by a community angel so that his future adopters can spend that money to spoil him with toys and treats. (Three Dog Bakery Cookies are his favorite!)

His foster parent had taken him to the groomer for a spa-day where they said that his next grooming appointment would be on them! HSSM can contact his previous foster mom to get more information :)
