Two adorable clouded leopard cubs have arrived at the National Zoo!
The rare cubs were born at the Nashville Zoo in the spring and were just transported to DC which will be their permanent home.
"For the first time ever the clouded leopard habitat will be home to 2 cubs named Paitoon and Jilian! They were born at the Nashville Zoo this spring and are a socially bonded pair. They are still perfecting their climbing skills, so keepers will be going in the yard with them to assist as necessary in the mornings. Soon, they won’t need any keeper supervision and will be in their habitat for most of the day. You can see them in the mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m."
Check out the video of them climbing around their habitat below.
Now if only this weather would cool off a little bit to make a walk around the zoo possible - right now it's just way too hot!
