Today would have been Betty White's 100th birthday. Sadly, the beloved actress passed away on New Year's Eve, just a few weeks shy of reaching this milestone. Almost immediately after hearing the news of her death, fans took to social media to rally others to honor her by donating to an animal charity on what would have been her 100th birthday. Based on what I've seen today, people have delivered.
Betty's assistant Kiersten took to Betty's Facebook page to thank fans for the outpouring of kindness and to share the last known photo of her. It was taken on December 20, 2021, just 11 days before she died.
