My Mother's Day Weekend Was Spent In The Hospital With My Dad And It's These Kids Who Bring Me The Inner Joy That Keeps Me Going...
I rushed my dad to the Katy Memorial Hermann Hospital ER on Friday after he lost all his body strength. Doctor Hall was amazing! Dad had severe Anemia and a fractured back from falling oh and a UTI...poor thing! Blood transfusions began and antibiotics but he needed to be transferred to the hospital I had my 4 boys at - SW Memorial! This was a bittersweet experience, with such great BABY memories and my dad struggling to regain his strength. Rebecca and Tracy transported him there in their sweet EMS truck and were so kind! With dad settled and his night nurse Imrana taking good care of him I slipped out and had my Mom's Day Dinner at my favorite Barnaby's on Fairview. It was a strangely perfect weekend! My mom got to rest knowing her High School sweetheart was in good hands! .
I LOVE and LOVED being a mom to these kids. NOTHING could wipe away the smile that these kids brought/bring me YESTERDAY, TODAY and FOREVER!
