Cemetery clean up:  The Preserve Biloxi Committee is requesting volunteers to help clean up the Biloxi Cemetery in preparation for the upcoming cemetery tours. The clean up will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Those interested will meet at the cemetery fountain. For more information, contact the Biloxi Main Street office at 228-435-6339.

Halloween in Woolmarket:  The Biloxi Parks & Recreation Department will hold its annual Happy Halloween in Woolmarket on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to ages 11 and younger. To see the flyer, click here

Fishing for catfish: The Biloxi Parks & Recreation Department will present the annual Fishing for Catfish Kids Day on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Children ages 15 and younger can visit the Hiller Park pond, bring their tackle box, cooler, fishing string and bait to fish for door prizes.

The Biloxi Farmer's Market on Howard Avenue is open Tuesday from 6-4pm with produce, baked goods, bath and body products, crafts and more.  The Market is held Tuesday and Thursdays year round, under the I-110 Bridge.

Gulf Coast Light the Night is at Jones Park in Gulfport Thursday from 5:30-9pm.  Music, pizza, kid zone and more.

There's a Not-So-Scary Halloween Cooking Class and Party at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center Friday night from 6-7:30pm.  Come dressed for a costume parade and enjoy spooky crafts.

Pascagoula Library to offer Rock Your Hair event:  Pascagoula Public Library will host the first ever Rock Your Hair event on Friday, October 12, beginning at 9 a.m. This free hair care workshop and showcase will take place until 2 p.m. in the meeting room.  Hair Care Products and Services will be presented. Natural hair care experts, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts are encouraged to come out and share their wisdom with people who are trying to do right by their hair!
