It started out as a normal traffic arrest. Police in Springfield, Colorado pulled a driver over for speeding Saturday, but as officers approached the car they saw the driver trying to switch places with his DOG in the passenger seat.
Then he tried to claim he wasn't driving.
When asked if he'd been drinking, the man made a run for it but was quickly apprehended.
The dog was let go with just a warning.
