Gov. Reeves is warning that organized rings of thieves are stealing unemployment funds with false claims-- and some of those thefts are happening in Mississippi. The Department of Employment Security says it's gotten "numerous" reports over the last three weeks from people whose identity has been used fraudulently to file claims. It's asking victims to report the fraud as soon as they discover it, so the payments can be stopped and investigations begun. U-S Attorney Mike Hurst says there's concern that up to $26 billion could be at risk nationwide.
