Cities with the best/worst days in regards to weather.

When I left for work this morning in Hickory Hills, it was raining. 10 minutes West on I-10, the sun started shining. If you were to ever want to move away from the beautiful Ms. Gulf Coast, here are a few places that have great weather on a regular basis according to the Washington Post . (also included, those with the worst daily weather....)

The rankings were based on the number of pleasant days per year, “including at least partial sun, temperate thermometer readings, gentle breezes, no rain or snow, and not much humidity.”

Not surprisingly, the nicest weather in the whole country is in California. Here are the cities with the most and least nice days per year:

  1. Long Beach, California -- 210 nice days on average per year
  2. Los Angeles, California -- 182 nice days on average per year
  3. San Diego, California -- 178 nice days on average per year
  4. San Jose, California -- 170 nice days on average per year
  5. Oakland, California -- 138 nice days on average per year
