They looked at a number of factors ranging from cost of living, cost of housing and income levels, to crime rate, education, quality of hospitals, recreational opportunities and the weather. Then they ranked all 50 states.

Here are the Top 10:

1. Massachusetts
2. Minnesota
3. New Hampshire
4. New Jersey
5. Colorado
6. Wisconsin
7. Virginia
8. Iowa
9. Utah
10. Idaho

At the bottom of the list were New Mexico (48), Louisiana (49) and Mississippi (50).
