A salary of 100 grand sounds like a pretty good living! But, about 1/5 of folks surveyed that make that much, are still living paycheck to paycheck. That's the finding of a new survey of 8,000 workers by Willis Towers Watson.
The firm says that the high pay usually comes with living in a high cost area. And those folks probably still have student loan debt because they had to get an advanced degree for their high-paying job.
And it seems those making six figures are just like us when it comes to planning -- or not planning -- for the future. 58% of respondents earning 100k said they are not saving enough for retirement.
