I've met most of our neighbors over the past 15 years. (That's how long we've been in our house.) However, we all have our separate lives and don't "hang-out" much. This wasn't surprising at all:
A new survey revealed that a lot of people met their neighbors for the first time during the stay-at-home period. For example, 40% of people in Connecticut said they met their neighbors for the first time during the coronavirus "lockdown," 29% of Californians got to know their neighbors for the first time, 25% of Oklahomans met those living near them for the first time, and 20% of Alaskans became friendly with their neighbors. You can see how every state ranked here.
