Press release regarding Post-Zeta work in the city of Biloxi:
Debris teams have been on Biloxi streets for four days. Currently, they are focusing on neighborhoods in West Biloxi, where most of the downed tree limbs are located.
More than 18,000 cubic yards of debris have been hauled away. That is nine percent of the estimated 200,000 cubic yards of debris throughout the city.
Residents are reminded to keep moving that debris to the curb, unbagged, and to please be patient while crews continue to repair traffic signals and clean up city parks and marinas. Those reminders, along with an extension of the city-wide burn ban and a note about Tuesday's council and public viewing of the city's newest fires trucks are part of Today's report.
