Are you loading up your SUV for a road trip this weekend? Us too. Of course, we all can agree that having our whole family in the car for an extended period of time can cause some stressful moments, especially when everyone thinks they are an expert behind the wheel. A new survey finds 73% of Americans say at least one member of their family is a “backseat driver.” 30% identify their teen as the biggest backseat driver in the family. What seems to bug the driver the most? When they are told where to turn, complaining that you need to speed up and yelling “watch out” when it’s really not necessary! In my mind, the best way to handle it is to tell the backstreet driver to listen to that highly articulate voice coming from your navigation/maps.
